oh my blog!
hi hello!
a little strange to be making a welcome/introduction post after already getting this project rolling, but i hope that's alright with you. i just wanted to clarify what this space is about.
let me introduce myself first. hi! my name is kevin, but i go by km ... or artistically as km. rowe or km.nada. i've been persistently online since the 90's as robotamerica. i have as many pseudonyms and handles as i have personalities i suppose.
as a person who spends plenty of time online exploring and reading, i thought i might share a bit of what i come accross and enjoy with y'all. more specifically i want to share all the wonderful spaces and places in the blogosphere i am enchanted by and keep coming back to and that usually find a home on my rss reader, feedo.
simply put: this is a weblog celebrating blogs and blogging.
i wanted to explore and offer you a nonlinear reading experience where you can jump to random posts with the hope that these little tokens of appreciation don't get lost to time.
you can think of this as a blogroll, but i like to think of it as a space dedicated to exploring and sharing the creative craft of blogging. it celebrates the writers and creatives who have reared and cared for this still young art (in the grandscheme of how we have traditionally shared our writing), and lal of their efforts.
i hope you can appreciate each of the gems i share here as much as i do. i hope it continues to be a celebration of blogging as a movement and not a commemoration of the small, cozy, and indie-web. we are the caretakers of this lively space existing in the spaces between and below the capitalist-driven grandeur of the platform, surveillance, big tech, broligarchy web. the way we care for it, is to keep creating it and spreading the joy of its jubilant dissemination of diy ethic and creatively insurgent communities.
please, stick around. find some new blogs to support through visiting and reading them. enjoy.
